Quality Training of Horses and Riders for the Show Ring
Quality training of horse and rider are the goal of Sheryl Wilkins. Working with the rider to learn how to train their horse and not just to sit on their horse is a priority of Sheryl's program. From the 7yo just starting out to the Adult or Jr rider honing their skills, Sheryl is there with words of encouragement and support.
Riding the young or spoiled horse is a talent Sheryl loves to practice! The many years in the saddle training the youngster for their first time over fences, first horse show, etc.. are so easy, the horses just feel the confidence. Spoiled horses learn right away what is expected and that they are rewarded for their cooperation. They learn to respect the rider and on the ground learn to respect a handlers space by consistency and simple aids.
Adding to Sheryl's training, Eastern Prospects Photography was born. Sheryl's natural feel for a horses jump and movement makes it easy for her to catch the optimal moment that shows off the horse over fences and on the flat. Sheryl is available for shows by advance contract and also for private farm calls especially catering to sale horse photos.

Once again, Sheryl was interviewed for another article for Hunter and Sport Horse Magazine. As soon as we know the issue it is to come out in, we will be sure to let you all know! This time the subject is about finding a distance to the long approach oxer. Tough subject! Too bad there isn't a magic formula to help everyone but hopefully the article will give a few tips to help out!
