Sheryl Wilkins has been my trainer now for three years. She has taken my “Green Three Year Old” and a green rider and made us both a team. She has provided me with a newfound confidence in riding. I cannot say enough for how patient and professional she is with both of us. She explains what the horse is responding to and not responding to. She is an experienced and expert trainer with young horses and her training of my green pony has been nothing short of amazing. He has become more balanced and responsive and learns something new from each training session. She works patiently with him and then teaches me the skills I need to understand my pony so that I can apply the knowledge and use it in my day-to-day routine with him. More than anything, I ride with no feeling of judgment or disappointment. Sheryl has a way of showing you what you are capable of and supporting you in order to help you achieve your best.

"Sheryl has been my trainer for less than a year and the improvement I have made with my horse in that short time is tremendous! She is extremely knowledgeable and is especially talented in pin pointing a horses's issues. She immediately pointed out what my horse needed improvements on and got right to it! My horse has become soft, relaxed, and willing to ride around a course nicely since working with Sheryl! I would recommend her to anyone in the show world or training world of horses!"

Sheryl has ridden all of my horses, four of them in all. Each one is a different ride from the thoroughbred to the draught horse, she has improved each horse on the first ride, and found that important connection with each horse. I compete in Ladies Hunters, riding side saddle I purchased a horse from the race track, Sheryl has helped greatly in improving this horse not only over fences but also on the flat. Improvement of my horses has been achieved by sympathetic correct riding. There have been no shortcuts /quick fixes by tying the horses down. I would recommend Sheryl and do to anyone who is looking for a good trainer who appreciates the essentials of good ground work/sympathetic skilled riding and a wonderful teacher. Sheryl , manages to remain fun and friendly when teaching and had a great method encouraging better riding skills not focused on the negative, but finding the best out of every lesson and directing future lessons from that point. All in all she GREAT
